Welcome to the Marguerite E. Small Innovation School, one of our district’s two schools for fourth and fifth grade students.
Our school enrollment is three hundred thirty two fourth and fifth grade students who attend an extended day from 8:30 am through 3:20 pm. This is complemented by an extensive after school program that includes a federally funded grant and a menu of fee based options.
Our Innovation School status affords us the opportunity to provide each of our students with an additional fifty minute Enrichment Block activity daily. These individualized semester-long schedules, developed with students’ choices, result in extended skill development in twenty-one different enrichment opportunities including: music, the arts, fitness, leadership, reading, mathematics, writing, science and technology.
The intermediate foundation that we provide for our fourth and fifth grade students firmly begins their journey down the “path of educational success.” We welcome you to visit our Innovation School!
