Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District Announces Ms. Laura Nasuti as New Director of Special Education and Student Services

The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Laura Nasuti as Director of Special Education and Student Services, effective July 1, 2026.

Ms. Nasuti has served as the D-Y Assistant Director of Student Services (PK–5) for the past two years, building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. A dedicated special education leader since 2012, she brings extensive experience in special education programming, compliance, and inclusive practices across all grade levels. She is committed to ensuring all students have access to high-quality, inclusive learning experiences and opportunities for success.

“I am deeply honored to step into this new leadership role. Having spent the last two years working closely with our elementary families and staff, I know firsthand the immense dedication and talent that exists across our district. I look forward to continuing this vital work, expanding opportunities, and strengthening our programming so that all students can succeed. My priority remains to support our educators and specialized staff in providing high-quality, inclusive learning experiences, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our community in this expanded capacity.”

Assistant Superintendent Ms. Maria Lopes praised Ms. Nasuti’s leadership and collaborative approach.

“Laura’s dedication to our students and her ability to bring people together to join in a working partnership is a strength. Her collaborative spirit has already changed our culture; and her belief in all students will now change their futures.”

Superintendent Marc Smith noted, “I am excited for Laura’s leadership in this new role. She has proven herself a thoughtful, collaborative, and patient leader during her two years in D-Y and I can’t think of anyone better to lead our restructured Special Education Department.”

The Director of Special Education and Student Services position was created as part of reorganization at Central Office that cut one of the Assistant Director of Special Education positions, restructured the other into this role, and changed the Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Services and Instruction to be the Assistant Superintendent.

The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jessee Clements as Director of Finance & Operations.

Ms. Clements brings more than twenty years of experience in public education as a teacher, department leader, and administrator. Currently serving as Curriculum Director for grades 6–12 in the Bourne Public Schools, she manages complex schedules, coordinates staffing for inclusion and specialized programs, and oversees resource allocation across two schools. She regularly collaborates with administrators, team leaders, and guidance staff to align staffing, scheduling, and operational priorities.

Her experience in organizational management, staffing, budgeting, and systems planning has strengthened her ability to analyze data, plan strategically, and make decisions that optimize resources while supporting both student and staff success. Ms. Clements is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at Bridgewater State University.

“I appreciate the time and effort of the interview committee and am grateful for this opportunity. I am eager to begin serving and supporting the students and staff of the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District,” said Ms. Clements.

Superintendent Dr. Marc Smith praised Ms. Clements’ leadership, collaborative approach, and operational expertise.

“Ms. Clements brings a strong educational background, outstanding organizational skills, and a student-centered mindset to this role. Her ability to collaborate with staff, analyze systems thoughtfully, and support school operations makes her an excellent addition to the leadership team and a tremendous asset to the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District.”

Ms. Clements will officially begin her role on July 1, 2026.
